Cookie Policy

This page lists the cookies and equivalent technologies used on cidstudio.es, what each is for, who processes it and how long it lasts. You can change your choice at any time through Cookie preferences, at the foot of every page.

1. What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file your browser stores on your device so that a site can recognise it on a later page or a later visit. Some of the technologies below are not cookies at all but browser storage, which does the same job. They are listed here for the same reason.

2. Categories

  • Necessary. Required for the site to work and to remember your cookie choice. Always on, and they set nothing that identifies you.
  • Analytics. Google Analytics 4, which counts visits and pages and is off until you accept, and Hotjar, which produces heatmaps and session recordings of how pages are used.
  • Marketing. Google Ads conversion measurement, off until you accept, so the studio can tell which advertising leads to an enquiry.

3. What is set, and when

Google’s tags here run under Consent Mode v2. Before you consent they send only denied-state signals, which carry no identifier and set no cookie, so aggregated measurement continues without recognising you. When you accept, the Google cookies in the table below become active.

Hotjar is loaded from the studio’s tag container as a custom tag, and Consent Mode governs Google’s own tags only. It is named here and listed in the table below, which is what this policy owes you, and no claim is made either way about when it loads. If you would rather it did not run at all, use the browser controls in section 5.

The cookie names that carry an identifier, the Hotjar ones and the two Google Analytics streams, are the ones this site’s own tag container uses, read off the running site rather than copied from a vendor’s documentation.

5. Changing your choice

Use Cookie preferences at the foot of any page. Your answer is kept in this browser’s local storage rather than in a cookie, so clearing cookies alone will not reset it. Clear the site’s storage, or answer the dialog again.

Every browser also lets you block or delete cookies for a site. Doing so may stop parts of the site working as intended.
