La Brisa is the second of the two interior lines CID Studio drew for XO Jonquet, a residential development above the old fishermen’s quarter on the seafront of Palma de Mallorca, and the opposite reading of the same plan: where El Monte goes dark, La Brisa goes pale. Travertine, light stone and oak in soft beiges and crisp whites, with the contrast pulled almost all the way out. In the penthouse the line meets a pitched ceiling of exposed beams and a roof terrace wrapping the building above the masts of the marina. The same palette runs on through the ground-floor apartment and the apartments between them.
