Furniture as an Art

The interior of this penthouse is designed for extraordinary personalities and true admirers of beauty. We used an asymmetrical layout. The interior pieces are not connected to the central axis. The furniture, lighting, and carpets have complex geometric shapes, which harmonise with one another.

We have organised the space using recognisable masterpieces created by well-known designers for the brands Gubi, Cassina, Floss, and Tacchini. Most of the decor pieces have been highlighted by leading professional media. Some of them were honoured with design awards.

The living room

The design of the furniture and lights focuses attention and creates an atmosphere of creative freedom and aesthetics. The colour palette of the artworks and interiors is very calm so as not to detract from the play of shapes and textures.

The iconic Zeppelin 1 chandelier, designed by Marcel Wanders Studio in 2005, conveys a sense of lightness and airiness.

The Dudet armchair was designed by Patricia Urquiola in 2021. The armchair’s soft and comfortable appearance harks back to the design of the 1970s.

The sofa Victoria is created by the Lebanese design duo David/Nicolas. The sofa won the Archiproducts Design Award in 2021. It is a modular system that can be organized from different elements: sofas, armchairs, ottomans, chaise lounges, and tables. In this project, we have put together a configuration of a corner sofa and a small table providing luxurious comfort.

The “Chaise longue à reglage continu” was designed in 1928 by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, and Charlotte Perriand. The chaise is not only beautiful but also very comfortable. In addition, it demonstrates an original technical solution. The stability of the armchair at any angle of inclination is provided by the action of friction.

The bedroom

The combination of shapes and textures of the bedroom interior pieces references the living room design concept. The calm color scheme enhances the feeling of relaxed Mediterranean luxury.

A secluded reading nook continues the design of the room. The curves of the lines of the armchair echo the geometry of the bed headboard, shelving unit, and coffee table.

The bedroom’s dominant feature is the bed with the unusual headboard. The intricate asymmetric configuration of the headboard sets the tone for the entire room’s design. Luxury is evident in the materials and details of the furniture.

The roof terrace

One of the centers of attraction on the terrace is the dining area. It is decorated with a dining table of a very unusual design. The table reflects the harmony of geometric shapes and proportions. It is no coincidence that his design has been awarded various awards: Iconic Design Award 2015, Good Design Award 2016, Red Dot Award for the 2016 Product Design category.

Service tables in the lounge zone are made entirely of polished glazed ceramic. Tables were highlighted by 2022 Archproducts Design award.

Sunshades next to sun loungers combine beauty and practicality. On the one hand, their shape is reminiscent of the foliage that fills the terrace. On the other hand, they are very functional. They are constructed of two independent semi-circles whose height, inclination, and orientation can be freely selected.
